R.P.S. Residential School was founded by erstwhile chairman Late Prof. R.P. Sharma with the sole pious aim of promoting education and keeping it within the financial reach of the common man.
The entire credit goes to the pioneering zeal and selflessness of the founder Chairman, Late Prof. R. P. Sharma. The undermentioned educational institutions are among those which are directly attributed to the efforts of Late Prof. R. P. Sharma who aspired for the revival of the ancient glories of Bihar known to the world over for the Nalanda university and other renowned educational institutions.
Our Other SchoolsThe objective of this Institution is to promote total development of student's personality so that they become capable of shouldering any responsibilities assigned to them with Discipline, Courage and Integrity. Utmost care is taken to ensure that the passing-out pupils of this institution are :- Educationally, culturally and physically sound and spiritually oriented men of character. Fit in all respects to strive continuously towards excellence in any assigned or adopted field. Judicious enough in utilising their freedom and leisure. Clear and firm on principles of action. Selfless in the service of their fellowmen, thereby identifying themselves as reliable agents in the social changes of the rapidly changing world.
A rich library has been set up with adequate number of books to cater to the needs of both students and staff. A wide range of books of educational interest are covered even for research purposes. For references and consultation even the foreign edition of some of the books, dictionaries, encyclopaedias and year books are stocked.
The Society has a fleet of own buses and mini buses for transportation of students and staff. The school have provided a first-aid box within reach, to attend to any untoward or emergency. The bus service covers the entire length and breadth of city with transport to and from almost every part of the city.
Though school does not run hostel but a hostel is run by RPS Residential Public School Society Patna exclusively for its own Boys & girls students. The hostel is spread over a very vast and open area in pollution free scenic surroundings and has imposing well-furnished buildings.
The building is fully equipped latest separate physics, chemistry, biology, computer, English, maths, social science and a composite science labs for primary students.
